How to Put on a Bangle Without Damaging It: A Step-by-Step Guide

Open ended bangles are a classic accessory that add a touch of sophistication to any outfit. However, if they are not put on correctly, they can be bent and eventually, they will develop a weak point and snap. If you recall, twisting metal back and forth will break the metal. Putting your bangle on without bending them can be tricky. But fear not! With the right technique, you can easily slip on your bangles without any risk of damage. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to ensure you can adorn your wrists with ease.

Step 1: Choose the Right Size

Before you start, ensure you have the correct size bangle. If it's too small, it'll be difficult to slide over your wrist, and if it's too large, you may be tempted to tighten it by squeezing it to a smaller size. Measure your hand or wrist circumference and choose a bangle that fits comfortably but isn't too loose.

The open ended bangles have the additional advantage of being adjustable however, they should be adjusted to fit only once. It is not something that is done each time we wear it. Once they've been adjusted tofit, they will slide on an off easily and will sit nicely on your wrist.

Step 2: Position Your Hand

Hold your hand in a relaxed position, with your palm facing up and your fingers relaxed. This exposes the fleshy part of your wrist where we will slide on the bangle.

Step 3: Press and Roll the Bangle

With your hand in position, gently gently press the bangle end into the fleshy part of your writs and roll it on. Take your time and avoid forcing the bangle, or widening the sides while doing so. A bangle that has been well adjusted, will not need widening or tightening.

Step 4: Adjust if Necessary

Once the bangle is on your wrist, you can gently adjust its position. Be careful not to twist or squeeze it while doing so. If the bangle feels too loose or too tight, you can remove it and try again, adjusting your hand position as necessary.

To take it off, reverse the process.
